An expert in humanitarian response in conflict settings, with significant experience in humanitarian policy, human rights, consensus-building, and empowering civil society. With work focused in the Syrian and MENA regional contexts, and extensive knowledge and a vast network of humanitarian organizations, civil society, and survivors’ groups, I have a long experience in the mechanisms and structures of humanitarian responses and public health policies. Experience utilized in different areas, such as protecting humanitarian workers, ensuring humanitarian access, documenting attacks on health, and supporting survivor groups. Led advocacy campaigns that have significantly improved humanitarian access, notification and other risk mitigation mechanisms, and the protection of humanitarian workers, inspiring change and progress in the sector.
