I am currently a Project Coordinator responsible for an annual reclamation and remediation program. Duties include project planning/scheduling, environmental sampling, site investigations, implementing regulations, interpreting laboratory analytical and comparing it to applicable criteria, and communicating with co-worker, contractors and regulators. I have worked in a wide range of work environments that included meeting deadlines, completing paperwork, customer interaction, manual labour, working inside and outside and problem solving. I am a dedicated worker aiming to fulfill a role to utilize knowledge of Land and Water Resources and eager to bring value to a dynamic team by offering an excellent work ethic and a strong commitment to quality performance.
Scope of work includes reporting, peer reviewing, planning, regulation compliance and fieldwork associated with the Environmental Department. A summary of the type of projects include, site remediation, site reclamation, Alberta Phase 2 and BC Stage 2 site investigations, detailed site assessments, vegetation management, wildlife sweeps and environmental sampling.
Responsible for conducting weed inspections throughout the county on public and private lands under the Weed Control Act. These inspections require strong plant identification skills as well as communication skills with the public to have compliance. All inspections were mapped out using GIS software with inspection reports attached to them. Also, would assist the crop inspector when needed with clubroot investigation.
Duties range from building, tuning, and repairing bikes; mounting, tuning and repairing skis and boards; doing skate sharpening and repairs; restringing racquet; taking in all customer product; filling out paper work and dealing with customer service if a problem arises. Obtained master technician certification from Sport Chek.
