Working at the distribution centre and HQ of E.B. Horsman & Son gave me valuable exposure to the logistics side of operations. I regularly worked with drivers from carriers like Vankam, prepared bills of lading (BOLs), and ensured LTL shipments were properly documented and loaded accurately. This experience helped me understand the importance of coordination between warehouse operations and transportation, and sparked a strong interest in the logistical side of the supply chain.

Working at CCS gave me a strong understanding of warehouse operations, especially in cold storage. I worked in every area—from receiving to shipping—and eventually oversaw a team in my freezer to drive operational success. My duties included racking products, picking orders, managing inventory through a warehouse management system, and ensuring timely, accurate inbound and outbound shipments.

Penguin introduced me to Warehouse operations, I assisted in ensuring product was accurately received, picked and moved throughout the warehouse. With a focus on inventory management I quickly excelled and showed an eagerness to learn.
