While employed with this company it was my role to shake out steel and prepare it to be flown to locations to be installed. Also on days that I was not rigging and flying I could be found installing the steel, signaling the crane to delivery the steel. I was often given blueprints to take a few guys and go complete other tasks.

While employed with this company it was my responsibility to offload trailers and stage steel next to areas we were going to build then using tower cranes or mobile cranes to lift the steel as needed into these areas where we would proceed to build our structures to be ready for concrete.

This was a fast pace environment where as soon as we finish a build we were already in another area gearing up to do the next build always changing and adapting to the new areas.

While employed with this company we were tasked with the job of building an airport hanger at the Pearson airport. At this job we would erect shoring towers and pre fabricate the truss sections then make tandem lifts and go up in Aerial work platforms to connect the structures using bolts and washers. Once the main components were torqued and inspected we would then fill in between the sections with secondary steel to build the roof sections.

We were also tasked with doing the roof decking and the exterior cladding once.
