1)Monitoring & Supporting Legacy Interface Applications
Perform daily monitoring of legacy interface applications. This entails running SQL scripts in database, check log files to ensure the interface is responding correctly, by sending data in between systems.

Server migration Project:
Participated to this project by monitoring on messages being successfully transferred from the partner servers and investigating on certificates in place to ensure they are correctly configured. Prepared technical documentation related to the migration.

Application Testing Project:
-App1: By updating the code in .NET using WCF framework, to adapt to the latest version of the MQ server. Testing in/outbound xml messages dataflow through the interface.
-App2: Change of process in extraction of data. Application developed in .NET needed to change process in extraction of data, from using web services (xml files) to pre-formatted csv files. This also required an update in DB for additional tables.

Testing and Mapping Project:
Created task scheduler xml script to automatically run the application on staging and prod servers.
Prepared test case positive and negative scenarios to test for both applications.

SharePoint Site – API Store Project:
My participation in this project has been from ideation. Performing research and analysis on the best approach to create a Catalogue site and API store which can be used both internally and externally. Project is still ongoing, and my involvement will be in the development of this site.

Documentation/User Guides:
I have contributed to our team’s repository, by adding documentation on changes/migration done on Legacy Interfaces. User guides on how to perform monitoring and troubleshooting. And making sure the Wiki stays up-to-date.

2)Testing data with Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) Framework
I perform testing partners using the EDE framework to send messages (data) between different external systems. This include JUnit testing sending soap messages from one partner to another.

3)Interface Configuration Management
Additionally, as an EIE Configuration Manager, I identify the work products that compose the baselines, and establish and maintain them.
Facilitate meetings to go through the change implementation process, for the change to be done on configuration items.
Request approvals for the change implementation and follow up if needed.
Enforce documentation format and storage standards and procedures to ensure compliance to all documented CM procedures through inspection and audit.

Created templates within DLN-3.0 Saba Cloud to prepare the team on how to navigate the new platform and documented on course creating/taking processes, to best support course administrators also transitioning to it.

    Testing and Documenting:
Worked alongside developers who were implementing changes to processes that needed to be adapted to the new Cloud environment. By documenting and executing unit testing, such as User Acceptance Testing, based on client’s business requirements.
Exposed to several systems managed by the DLN In-Service Support, involving applications design and development as well as programming skills (Java) and Application Programming Interfaces and micro-services (RESTful API and web services).
