Summary

Throughout my 32-year career in law enforcement, I have gained extensive experience across various divisions and held numerous leadership positions. I have led and participated in investigations related to sexual violence, juvenile exploitation, street gangs, organized crime homicides, and internal criminal matters (Internal Affairs). Additionally, I served with the United Nations for 18 months during the Minujusth mission and 12 months in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Monusco). My responsibilities encompassed Conduct and Discipline, President of the Women’s Network, and leading a Special Police Team.

I also engaged in volunteer work, providing English lessons to the national staff. I am dedicated to empowering women and work collaboratively to advance justice for women, prioritizing gender and human rights. My goal is to ensure that women can express themselves, participate, and lead on equal footing. I am committed to promoting gender integration and equality, and I have consistently sought opportunities to drive positive change both in my country and within the framework of the United Nations. In recognition of my efforts, I was nominated for the International Women Peacekeepers Award in 2019.
