Mike Dorsey

19 Years of experience at UPS. I began as a package handler in the San Gabe Preload in 2005. I have worked in many of the facilities in Southern California District including San Gabe, Laguna, Anaheim, Cerritos, La Mirada, Meridian and Ontario. I was a top PDS and On Road Supervisor before my promotion to Business Manager. Since my promotion to Manager I have built two new centers. I have trained brand new management teams and implemented processes from scratch in both centers. I have created positive work environments focused on communication and teamwork in my operations and have driven safety, service and performance. I have been the go to manager in both the Cerritos and Mountain View Divisions and covered the division when the Division Manager was off. I believe I have the experience and skills needed to take on the next challenge in my career and am ready for more responsibility in the role of Package Division Manager.

Achieved plan on Recordable, Auto and High Severity 2024 in the Mountain View Division which is the first time the division has made plan on all three elements for the year.

Increased 30 points on the LTR score in 2024 going from 53 to 83. I was specifically asked to come to Ontario to assist in changing the culture.

Covered the Mountain View Division as acting Division Manager from 9/25/24 to present.
