My job was to test for leaks within the hvac system for better efficiency I'll seal off supply registers and put a blower on the return then I'll connect a hose from blower to a monitor that will test the air in the system there was a certain number I had to look for in order for the HERS test to pass. If it failed I'll notify the company and they will return to reseal plenums duct or any area where air would escape.
