• Complete doctors' order such as catheterization, G-tube care, blood glucose monitoring, vital signs, bladder scan, wound care, and medications
• Demonstrate professionalism in completing multiple urgent tasks in a timely manner and recorded care information provided in a concise and timely manner
• Follow safety protocols for all patients and assisted nursing staff whenever possible
• Perform physical assessments while assisting with morning care
• Provide compassion and support to dying patient
• Manage patients' pain relief needs and evaluate efficacy
• Educate and discharge patients with medication regimen and provide contact information for follow up appointments with preceptor's assistance
• Utilize protective equipment provided
