I began working in the summer of 2022 with the Labrador Shrimp Company as a part-time Labourer, and in the summer of 2022 I began child care for CSSD part-time and other child care within the community. I was the CYN director’s assistant from September to November 2024.

Offering caring and attentive nature, ideal for roles involving young children and youth, while eager to learn and grow in this environment. Brings understanding of child/youth safety and ability to manage a comfortable place for the individuals of Grand River Hall. Ready to use and develop skills in the RA role.

  • As a childcare worker, I supervised children and reported to the guardian. Prepared daily /nightly activities and escorted children to supervised outside play. Prepared meals/daily chores as needed while caring for the children.

  • As a Labourer at the plant, I deal with the packing of crab and the cleaning of wrinkles. I was responsible for organizing and placing the crab in pans to be processed in the higher-risk areas. I was also responsible for major cleanup at the plant to ensure the quality of the product. I work independently and work well with others.
