Dear LEGO Company,

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to apply for the Seasonal Sales Associate Brick Specialist position at the Guildford, Surrey BC, location. This has been a dream job of mine for years, and I've waited for the chance to apply for an opening in this company. When I saw the job posting become available through your website, I immediately began working on my application. My knowledge of various LEGO themes and media, previous experience in retail and working with kids, and dedication to imagination make me an ideal fit for this job.

I firmly believe in LEGO's company policies and mission statements, especially its environmental self-sustainability plan, diversity in sets and career opportunities, and positive workplace atmosphere. I am incredibly passionate about the themes as both an avid collector of many series sets, including Creator, Ideas, Ninjago & Dragons Rising, DREAMZzz, Monkie Kid, Friends, Elves, Architecture, Harry Potter, and Minifigure Series, and as a knowledgeable viewer and fan of the Ninjago, Dragons Rising, DREAMZzz, Monkie Kid, and Elves shows, books, movies, and magazine comics.

While working at H&T Pet Import, I practiced customer service skills, communicated with customers, staff, and managers, operated a cash register, and managed inventory. I would sort, count, and organize stock, and when something was running low, I would notify the manager to order more. With my natural optimism and friendliness, I would respond to customers in a polite and enthusiastic manner. I often work best when I have a task to complete, and like to keep my workspaces tidy. My previous work experiences at Tennis BC and Gleneagle Secondary involved daily cleanup and set-up and inspiring kids to try sports and theatre. Many of my education courses have revolved around Creative Writing and Leadership. Through school and sports, I have cultivated skills as a team player in terms of positive communication, a friendly and approachable demeanour, and a quick learner who listens to others. I have also learned how to balance my schedule to maintain a healthy flow of school, work, sports, and artistic fun.

Thank you for taking the time to read my resume. I hope to hear from you soon regarding my application and a potential interview. I would be extremely excited for this position as I enjoy encouraging creative expression and love this company dearly. I find creativity to be one of life's most important skills; I believe it is through the joys of imagination and play that one reaches their true potential. If you have any follow-up questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Sincerely,

Michelle Bettauer
