As a bilingual third-year student at Carleton University, majoring in Human Rights and Social Justice with a minor in Law, I am passionate about both teaching and legal studies. I have gained substantial practical experience as an Emergency Occasional Teacher at Glen Ogilvie Public School, where I teach children aged 4-11. My background also includes diverse roles in customer service, food and beverage, and retail, where I honed skills in teamwork, communication, and multitasking in high-paced environments. I actively participate in extracurricular activities, notably playing Ringette for the Carleton Ravens and contributing as a camp counselor. My academic pursuits equip me with a robust understanding of human rights issues and a strong foundation in legal principles.
Here are examples of university courses I've taken:
- Human Rights: Theories and Foundations
- Power Relations and Human Rights
- Social Justice and Human Rights
- Politics of Human Rights
- Children's Rights
- Social, Economic, and Cultural Rights
- Globalization and Human Rights
- Contract Law

I have been actively involved in Ringette for over 15 years, currently playing for the Carleton Ravens Team since 2022. My extensive experience in the sport began with the Gloucester Cumberland Ringette Association (GCRA), where I also contributed as an arena coordinator for tournaments in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, I have served as a Ringette summer camp counselor for five years (2019-2023) and have utilized my expertise to nurture young players.
