Passionate golfer, enjoy hiking, snow skiing and volunteering.

Golf has been part  of my adult life, which provides me with immense enjoyment in meeting new people and taking on the challenges that each and every course offers. I have always enjoyed sports and the outdoors, growing up in the West Kootenay's of BC, enabled me to take full advantage of learning how to ski at Red Mountain and then becoming a volunteer ski patrol on the mountain. Learning how to skate, then hockey became part of my upbringing. The outdoors always attracted me to new adventures, including hiking, biking, water skiing, and kayaking,

I believe its in my DNA, as a self starter and passionate learner in whatever I put my mind to. In appreciating the sports and the challenges that confront us every day, I am also very involved in giving back and being part of the solution and not the problem. My volunteer work enables me to be on the field, a participant in the game and not in the stands as a fan. Its what has been part of my entire life in both my work, my family and my recreational activities.

Additional Information

After I graduated from BCIT in 1984, I was employed by Scott Paper Limite as a QA Manager. My tenure with then lasted a couple of years and resulting in my confirmation that I wanted to be in control of my destiny in life. I have been self employed every since, taking on projects which to my good fortune gave m the ability to see and enjoy a large part of this world we live in. Opportunities seem to present themselves, along with the timing that has enabled myself to learn from smarter people and garner extensive experience across a multitude of industry sectors. I am a hands on, roll up the sleeves type of guy and very much enjoy and passionate about "getting things done"! I am open minded and always looking for the next adventure when I can bring my years of experience and positive attitude to making a difference.
