  • Participate in the planning coordination and report writing for many meetings, conferences, seminars and workshops
  • Prepare the Annual Operational Plan and budget for the legal department using the EAC Budget Management System (BMS), defend it before the Council of Ministers, and coordinate the execution of the same
  • Conduct and coordinate litigation before the East African Court of Justice
  • Participated in the planning, coordination of the 5th Edition of the EAC Cultural Festival (JAMAFEST), Election Observation and Peace Caravan and Benchmarking Tour to the Maasai Community of Kenya and Tanzania for Border Communitites on the trijunction of Kenya, South Sudan and Uganda
  • Participated in many donor meetings such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, KfW, USAID, Enabel and GIZ and negotiated many multimillion dollar funding agreements with them
  • Participated in the development of the EAC gender and child policies;
  • Participated in the negotiation of many Protocols including Annex VII to the Common Market Protocol (Mutual Recognition of Academic and Professional Qualifications Regulations), Community Laws, Rules and Regulations
  • Participated in the development of the EAC Development Strategies, strategic plans and work plans in many sectors, including resource mobilization, Health, and gender and community development.
