• Operating ASD, twin and single screw tugs during operations such as ship assist/escort, berthing, dive support, general cargo and personnel transport
• Maintaining and updating navigation charts and bridge publications
• Ensuring all navigation equipment is in good operational order and performing maintenance on said equipment
• Maintaining vessel firefighting and lifesaving appliances
• Performing vessel maintenance as per PMS

• Officer in charge of navigational watch complying with company policy, Master's instructions and maritime regulation
• Performing cargo/ballast operations as instructed by the Chief Officer
• Maintaining firefighting and lifesaving appliances and ensuring proper maintenance is completed as per company PMS
• GMDSS officer responsibilities including daily, weekly and monthly GMDSS equipment checks, ensuring vessel radio license is up to date and shore based maintenance is completed
• Performing DP watches as Jr
• DPO while inside NL offshore oil fields
• Fulfilling 2nd Officer position and responsibilities when required
• Officer in charge of mooring/anchoring operations
• Ensure the vessel is at all times prepared for SIRE/Class inspections

• Officer in charge of navigational watch, including dense traffic situations in foreign regions, ice infested and confined waters
• Complete cargo/ballast operations as per Chief Officer instruction
• Operations include, but not limited to, loading/discharging of refined petroleum products (discharge in Arctic communities using floating cargo hose operation) and chemical classed cargo, ship-to-ship transfer, assisting with cargo tank washing, cargo heating and tank inspections
• Complete replacement of vessel's life saving and fire fighting equipment for recently purchased company vessel's and continuous maintenance and inspection thereof
• Vessel Safety Officer with responsibilities, but not limited to, recording and submitting monthly drill reports, safety meeting minutes, on-board training exercises and vessel orientation
• Officer in charge of mooring operations at the designated mooring station, including anchoring and Mediterranean moor in Canadian Arctic regions
• Conduct regular drill exercises as team leader
