Achievements:

  • Key player in the discussions and conversions with all 350+ vendors moving to aggregate ordering through Home Depot RDC’s.
  • Successfully negotiated and exceeded handling allowance targets greater than 2% per vendor converted to RDC’s, equivalent to more than $2M additional allowance annually.
  • Contributed to the overall volume growth and cost of goods sold through our RDC’s, which ultimately lowered cost per carton and overall handling rates in the buildings.

  • Developed strategies to support peaking periods such as Xmas, Seniors Discount Mondays, Cottage and Camping, and Back-to-School seasons.
  • Created and implemented a phased inventory ramp down approach for Zellers store closures.
