- Create fundraising goals and budgets and oversee the solicitation of funds to meet these goals in conjunction with the development department staff.

- Research and identify new donors and organize initiatives to solicit funding including oversight of Monthly Donor Programs.

- Oversee the strategy for all electronic communications including website, social media, email campaigns and e-newsletters in conjunction with development department staff. Oversee its execution.

- Work with the Executive Director and development staff to create major donor cultivation and outreach strategies, including benchmarks & reports.
- Actively seek out opportunities to be involved in the community and corporate world; acting as an ambassador for philanthropy in relation to major gifts and sponsorships.
- Oversee the development and execution of the Mission’s communication plan strategy with Executive Director and development staff.
- Assess and analyze the financial, administrative and operational implications of proposed actions and decisions by individual areas and departments on the whole of the organization.
- Participate in annual budgeting and planning process for the organization’s annual budget with the Executive Director and Department Heads.
- Serves on the Senior Leadership team.
