  • Lead I&C engineer for a new Ammonia Effluent Treatment Plant project for Freeport McMoran.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all I&C deliverables for the project including P&IDs, instrument and valve datasheets, loop diagrams, instrument location drawings, IO list, cable list, instrument index, instrument installation details, functional descriptions, and system architecture drawings.
  • Working closely with other disciplines (e.g., process, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure an integrated successful project design and delivery.
  • Wrote, reviewed, and edited technical document in accordance with project and client requirements.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary project engineering management and technical meetings to communicate the I&C design progress, share any concerns, and provide input to other disciplines to deliver the project.

  • Package engineer for five packages responsible for technical bid evaluations, selection, sizing, and delivery of over 3000 field devices including general instruments and control valves (temperature, level, flow, pressure, process analyzers, gas detectors, On/Off and modulating valves) for the project.
  • Led a team of engineers and designers to create over 3000 instruments and valves datasheets using Smart Plant Instrumentation software.
  • Coordinated with other disciplines and suppliers to ensure instrument delivery to site on schedule.
