  • Work as part of a crew under supervision to install, remove, maintain, and repair overhead and underground communication facilities. Construct fiber optics, install and remove structures and ancillary materials such as microwave antennas and dishes, cross arms, splice enclosures, and riser ducts. Install, operate, and maintain communication cables, including the removal, splicing, termination, and testing of copper and fiber optic cables. Use precautionary procedures, appropriate tools, and safety equipment to work on communication cables or equipment.
