Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of existing processes and practices to identify and implement opportunities for change, innovation, and enable improvement.
Leads, motivates, and engages members, to create a high performance team through inclusive leadership and coaching.
Plans, manages, and monitors policing operations for the Service, managing competing demands and priorities to make informed decisions and ensures best use of available resources.
Identifies, manages and mitigates operational threats while considering options and risks, in determining the best action to take. Seeks out and identifies a range of information to identify patterns, trends, and options to solve multifaceted and complex
problems.
Represents the Service to the public, media, external
stakeholders & community partners to build confidence in
policing. Engages a variety of audiences through a range of media to inform and/or persuade.
Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, inside & outside of the Service.
Utilizes interpersonal & communication skills to provide guidance & support at scenes.
Directs members in tasks necessary to ensure road and city are appropriately managed, and hold members accountable for
their behavior and adherence to Service procedures at scenes.
Liaise with public sector partners and the Special Investigations Unit in regards to Police Interactions with the public.
