With 20 years experience in the IT industry I have gained a wide range of knowledge and technical ability, I have worked on a variety of projects, both as a technical lead and liaison to clients. I have been involved with such aspects as installation, configuration, maintenance, support services, security, data recovery, and project planning. In addition, I support 30-40 networks on a daily basis (Networks supported range from 25-500 users). These clients have support needs that require a vast array of knowledge in several areas, including, Windows, Linux, proprietary application testing, Virtualization, VOIP, VPN, and Security. Infrastructure experience ranges from single server single site configurations to multi-server, multi-site environments. I am required to deal with customers/clients, both in sales and support roles. I am required to analyze situations, recommend solutions, devise specifications for projects based on needs of the clients, and provide clients with an appropriate business prospective on projects that may interject with current configuration of equipment. This prospective has gained me respect with all existing clients.
Over the years my roles have transitioned from being technical in nature to more of a management based culture where I develop strategies, RFP's, oversee projects, develop both operational and capital budgets while still maintaining much of my hands on experience.

Technical Duties
• Create and maintain the Active Directory user accounts and
access for on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
• Create, prepare, test, deploy and resolve issues with
physical, virtual and cloud-based servers and any relevant
software (ie. vMware vCenter and Esxi virtual environment).
• Install, configure, and maintain all network routers, switches
and wireless access points and controllers, printers and
other associated peripherals, digital display boards, keyless
entry system, storage area networks, including provisioning
and allocation of on/off-premise storage.
• Management and/or maintenance of firewall policies, rules,
patching, and remote SSL VPN management.
• Maintain security and vulnerability patching of all devices.
• Management and maintenance of Motion Rocket LED Ring
and Jumbotron.
• Perform wired and wireless network installation, testing and
troubleshooting.
• Management and/or maintenance of Cisco IP phone system,
Cisco Call Manager, Call Unity and Contact Center for the
Box Office.
• Manage and maintain onsite and offsite backups.
• Participate in management and negotiation of all technical
and IT support contracts.
• Manage IT requirements, including preventative
maintenance and capital project activities.
• Responsible for the preparation and administration of the IT
budget operating and capital budget pertaining to IT
infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to staff and clients on a daily
basis.
• Responsible for maintaining an inventory of IT related
equipment and supplies.
• Configure and support the operation of the Video
Surveillance system.
• Work with external service providers when required and
escalate technical issues to IT vendors when necessary.
• Train staff in the use of technical systems as required.
• Maintain documentation and provide timely project updates
and status reports for network infrastructure and
applications and all other aspects of the position.
• Maintain proficiency in IT technical fields of expertise and
communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and
clients.
