• Operating heavy equipment (797B/F Series as well as 785's) in a safe and respecful manner to move, load and unload materials in an effort to help the client to achieve their Safety and Production oriented goals.

• Give proper care and attention to the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
• Report all damage of the equipment to the Team Leader.

In the 6 months prior to transferring this position i worked for the Strategic Services Branch as a Service Tech/Heavy Equip Operator looking after the Servicing and Oper-tuning of their fleet of Heavy Equipment (ie D6/9 Dozers, 14M/H Graders, 777D/F Haul trucks as well as 345C Cat, 870 Hitatchi/John Deere, 2500 Komatsu)

At both Suncrudes Mildred Lake and Aurora Operations, my responsibilities included but weren't limited to:

• Hosting Safety meetings daily with onsite employees.
• Identify any potential hazard on site and implement the necessary pre-cautionary measures to prevent incidents.
• Ensure that the work area is kept safe and maintained with good housekeeping practices to ensure that the job site is left neat and hazard free at the end of each shift.
• Execute jobsite(s) work activities in an effective and efficient manner that conforms to BME's and/or the client's quality of work and safety standards.
• Perform any other duty or task as may be assigned from time to time by the superintendent or designated manager in an timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a courteous and respectful relationship with clients.
• Respond to complaints promptly and carry out rework as required to satisfy client requests and/or project quality needs.
• Oversee and follow up on the Short Service Worker/Mentorship Program ensuring all new employees are competent and have received adequate training and experience before being released from the program.
• Notify the Superintendent or Manager of and and all damaged equipment, material, procedural deviations or performance concerns and to follow up with the appropriate response, ie Corrective Action or further reporting/follow up.

My responsibilities included but weren't limited to:

• Operating from Syncrudes Mildred Lake site, this position involved the safe operation of a Water Truck for heavy equipment and various industrial related projects throughout Syncrudes Mildred Lake and Aurora Operations.
• This position required me to be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather.
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to; customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections.
• Follow instructions, review and sign off on SJP's for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor including the delivery of Hot water at the field level to assist in Syncrudes Tailings Operations site wide.
• Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of personal and company image/reputation.
• Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to BME and Site safety regulations and procedures.

My responsibilities included but weren't limited to:

• Be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather.
• On call 24/7 for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 6 gravel trucks.
• Working to get the trucks back up and running in a timely manner on and off site, within the yard or out on the highway.
• Trouble shooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and air operated systems.
• Maintaining regular maintenence of units on time (oil changes, greasing of units).
• Changing and repairing of tires.
• Completing daily paper work.
• The dispatching and coordinating of trucks to meet customers needs.
• Operation of a quad wagon or Super B combination dump truck (side dump/end dump or double side dumps) hauling gravel for the company.

• Received immunizations for working with Raw Water.
• Any steaming in the field required by either a mechanic or a operator to assist in their operation.
• The steaming of Syncrudes hydraulic shovels in the active Mine to assist in maintenance and repairs, i.e.
• Swing areas, engine bays, Radiators, outer body and stick and boom.

As a Pump Operator/technician for the Alerta Branch/Region, my responsibilties included:

• Operate dewatering equipment and install well-point systems and by-passes to meet the customers needs.
• Erect, monitor and maintain dewatering equipment (such as wells, pipe lines, meters and pressure gauges).
• Test and repair water hoses.
• Perform maintenance work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate all dewatering equipment safely and competently in accordance with CDLP safe work procedures/practices and manufacturers' operating Manuals.
• Trouble shoot pump and piping problems on site.
