As a Bulk Fuel Specialist, my job is to operate the fuel dispensing equipment used to fill aircraft, ground vehicles, and ground equipment. A crucial responsibility of my job is to maintain this equipment to ensure a constant state of readiness. This includes repairing pumps, filter separators, meters, and fuel containers. The cornerstone of my occupation specialty is testing petroleum to ensure its quality to prevent collateral damage by testing for dirt and debris, microbiological growth, ensuring the lack of water, and routinely adding anti-freezing inhibitors.
