Summary

For the last 10 years, my experience in the supply chain management field has been focused on inventory management, warehousing , purchasing and procurement. In the majority of my previous employment I have had the opportunity to be immersed in different styles of inventory management, different warehouse layouts and sizes, and different inventory and purchasing software.

In the years leading up to 2024, I have lead team of individuals in the manufacturing field and in construction. Spearheaded warehouse reorganization projects to make our capacity grow and to optimize efficiencies for order picking and receiving, and for out bound logistics.

In the manufacturing field I started from the bottom as a shipper and receiver.

I then acquired my Certification in production and inventory management from APICS an worked up the ladder to become a purchaser and inventory controller, where I was in charge of purchasing the warehouse materials and consumables. I was given the responsibility of the receiving department supervisory duties due to my past experience and proven reliability.

As a vertical move I went on to be a shipping and receiving supervisor, which then lead me to an amazing opportunity with the District of Saanich. The past 5 years have been a great experience and I have gain professional and personal growth which has given me the confidence to move on to bigger and better opportunities.

I love to teach and instill knowledge, I love a new challenge and will always strive for improvement, both in my personal and work life.

  • Review capital project estimates to ensure all products are available in the correct quantity/ quality required by stakeholders
  • Assist in orientation and supervising both new and returning Stores employees to ensure best productivity and retention
