I am an outgoing and motivated individual with strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills. I enjoy meeting new people and have experience creating positive, customer-focused experiences in fast-paced environments. I handle tasks with precision, adapt quickly, and take the initiative to learn industry knowledge efficiently. I have a solid understanding of the Sea to Sky region, its history, attractions, and community, and I bring a positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork. I’m eager to apply and grow these transferable skills in a new role where I can contribute to customer satisfaction and overall success.
While working at the Pemberton Visitor Centre, I further developed my strong communication skills by providing visitors with accurate, helpful information about local trails, hikes, activities, hotels, and restaurants. I offered tips and guidance to both travelers passing through and those staying in town. I also maintained a clean and welcoming kiosk by keeping the interior sanitary and ensuring the outside area was free of trash and recycling. In addition, I organized and reviewed maps to build solid knowledge of Pemberton and the surrounding areas, allowing me to give well-informed advice to guests.
During my time at Chevron, I consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. My responsibilities included cleaning the coffee counter, sanitizing the register, sweeping floors, and keeping windows spotless to ensure a safe and pleasant space for customers and coworkers.
I always aimed to create a positive experience by treating others with kindness and respect, communicating clearly, and working as part of a team. I took initiative when needed, whether it was restocking, helping a coworker, or assisting a customer, and brought a positive attitude to every shift.
Working at Chevron helped me build strong habits, gain real-world experience, and grow both personally and professionally, all while enjoying the work I did.
I was awarded the Certificate of Scholastic Achievement twice in grades 10 & 11 and placed on the Honor Roll both times for maintaining a 90–100% academic average. This recognition reflects my dedication to learning, strong study habits, and commitment to achieving excellence in all subject areas.
