As a Junior Exploration/Core Logging Geologist, I apply my knowledge and skills in geology and core logging to support the exploration and development of Uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin region. I am responsible for characterizing and identifying lithology, fabrics, geological features and structures, and minerals from drill core samples, using various tools and techniques such as microscopy, XRF, and geophysical logs. I also collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and update geological maps and models using Arc GIS and ENVI software. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geoscience/Geology from the University of Regina, where I gained a solid foundation in geologic fields such as sedimentary and igneous petrology, structural geology, stratigraphy, and geophysics. I have also acquired years of fieldwork experience as a Field Exploration geologist at Axiom Exploration Group, an Exploration geologist at Denison Mines Corp, NexGen Energy Ltd and other prestigious exploration companies as listed in my resume, where I participated in various projects involving sampling, mapping, drilling, and core logging of uranium projects. I am an energetic and self-driven professional who is passionate about geology and eager to learn and broaden my knowledge from challenges and opportunities in the industry.
