1. Accurately documenting inbound and outbound rubber/mechanical tank car inspections in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of Association of American Railroads (AAR).
2. Read and understand customer procedures and use them to inspect their cars accordingly.
3. Utilizing different customer databases to gather and upload information. Use UMLER database for the tank car information.
4. Apply Reflectors, Qualification Box and various other decals.
5. Remove, replace and inspect tank car service equipment such as Pressure Relief Valve, Bottom Outlet Valve, Air brake and Manual Brake.
6. Perform Daily checks, Safety Checks, Boiler room checks. Create shop layout plans.
8. Inspect the blast performed on the car using various micrometers and positector.
9. Perform Final Inspection, prepare final documents and get the tank car ready to send it to customers.
10. Participate in QA Meetings and discuss about safety and the further work plan.
