  • Implemented a visual problem appraisal focused on understanding the influence of HIV/AIDS among afflicted rural households and its relation to food and nutrition security in Kwa Zulu Natal. This project addressed a significant issue in rural livelihoods in KwaZulu-Natal and provided a justification for the relevance of the identified problem.
  • Utilized strategic tools such as PEST analysis and causal diagrams to unravel the complexities and uncertainties identified during the expository research. These tools were instrumental in providing a structured analysis of the factors influencing the identified problem.
  • Wrote a detailed consultancy report summarizing the findings of the visual problem appraisal. The report, submitted to the project commissioner, highlighted key insights and recommendations for addressing the identified challenges in rural livelihoods, particularly concerning the impact of HIV/AIDS on food and nutrition security in Kwa Zulu Natal.

  • Developed an intervention as a response analysis report for poultry farmers aimed at ensuring sustainable interventions to empower smallholder poultry farmers. The focus was on the adaptation of improved management practices and strategies for climate change resilience with an eco-friendly approach.
  • Utilized a comprehensive set of analytical tools, including stakeholder analysis, SWOT analysis, power and stakeholder analysis, response options for the intervention, a sustainable livelihood framework, and causal impact. These tools were crucial in designing an appropriate development intervention that would lead to enhanced food security and resilience for poultry farmers in Enugu State.
  • The workshop resulted in a well-structured response analysis report highlighting sustainable interventions and strategies for smallholder poultry farmers.
  • The report emphasized the importance of adapting improved management practices to address the challenges posed by climate change while promoting eco-friendly resilience in the agricultural sector.
