Operate 100 Ton RT, 80 Ton RT, 30 Ton Rt & 18 Ton Carry deck

 Perform pre-lift checks, including load calculations and equipment inspections, to ensure safe crane operations

 Follow safety protocols and adhere to site-specific regulations during all lifting operations

 Coordinate with team to ensure precise load placement and secure rigging

 Maintain equipment by conducting routine inspections and identifying potential mechanical issues

• Operate 50 Ton Crane, Boom Truck, digger, loader & skid steer
• Inspect equipment and lifting accessories for wear or damage
• Determine load weights and ensure lift capacities are not exceeded.
• Participate in toolbox talks and hazard assessments.

Project Highlights

• Syncrude Fire Remediation: (Contracted through Norcan Electric & Cimms). Operating a Manitex 50-ton truck mounted crane, 26 ton Boom truck & Zoom Boom, hoisting various electrical material to restore power to area 13 -1

• Operated an 80-ton RT Grove crane, 80-ton RT Tadano & Zoom Boom;
•Performed rigging and hoisting procedures.
• Hoisted as required for the various trades working on the project .
•Secured, loaded/unloaded, lifted, transported, and placed scaffolding, Welders, pumps, and a wide variety of
construction materials.
•Completed pre-use inspection checklists for zoom booms & cranes.
•Determined and checked load weights against lifting capacities to ensure safe lifting.

Project Highlights

Suncor East Tank Farm Project: Operate 80-ton RT
cranes and zoom boom for new construction of storage tanks and supporting pipeline oil.

• Apprentice , Class 1 driver 3DM Hauling & Hoisting, Operate both mobile and overhead cranes, boom trucks and winch tractors on various industrial and commercial construction and maintenance projects.
• Provide riggers with direction and training on proper rigging procedures and hand signals.
• Inspect equipment and lifting accessories for wear, replace/adjust components and perform preventative maintenance to prevent malfunctions or damage.
• Determine load weights and ensure lift capacities are not exceeded.
• Participate in toolbox talks and hazard assessments.
• Complete pre-use inspection checklists for crane and trucks.

Project Highlights

• Suncor (various contracts through Suncor Pipelines, Ledcor, Aecon, OJ Pipelines, Laird Electric and Letcar Mechanical):
• Operated a 30-ton overhead crane, a Manitex 50-ton truck mounted mobile crane and a 23 ton boom truck to lift piping, electrical materials and equipment during new construction of Suncor’s Booster Pumphouse 300.

• Syncrude FFT-CFSP Oil Sands Tailings Project (various contracts through Laird Electric, Graham Construction and Syncrude): Operated a 50-ton truck mounted crane, a 26-ton boom truck and a winch tractor to support electrical installations during new construction of an oil sands process facility.

• Suncor Fort Hills Project (contracted through Norcan Electric): Operated a 50-ton truck- mounted mobile crane to move electrical skids for temporary power during new construction of an oil sands project.

• HVAC Solutions: Operated a Manitex 50-ton truck-mounted mobile crane to provide crane lifts for multiple rooftop HVAC installations on various commercial buildings, including airports, restaurants, and schools.

• Operated a 60-ton RT Grove crane, a 25-ton National boom truck, a 30-ton Elliott boom truck and a vacuum truck for industrial and military projects.

• Performed rigging, hoisting and hydrovac procedures.

• Secured, loaded/unloaded, lifted, transported, and placed office trailers and a wide variety of construction materials.

• Completed pre-use inspection checklists for boom trucks and vacuum trucks.

• Determined and checked load weights against lifting capacities to prevent overload.

• Checked documentation, reported vehicle defects, and maintained logs of working hours, vehicle service and repair status, following applicable provincial and federal regulations.

• Attended toolbox talks and performed hazard assessments.

Project Highlights
• Iron Ore Company Ball Mill Project: Operated 25 ton and 30 ton boom trucks during construction of a new iron ore processing plant.
• CFB Goose Bay Airforce Base: Provided lift support for a fuel tank replacement project.
