Summary

I am an experienced Registered Nurse, having spent the bulk of my career at bedside as an Adult Critical Care nurse (22 years all night shift). The valuables skills I learned as an ICU nurse taught me how to be a patient advocate, how to hone in on my assessment skills and report critical changes to the doctors on call. I effectively managed complex cases during the COVID-19 pandemic caring with the sickest of patients. I value teamwork and open communication to have a positive and cohesive work environment. I have since left bedside and spent the last two year as a Message Management RN at the Head and Neck Surgery Clinic. Although my role is different, I still value the patient care I deliver to our postoperative patients and enjoy assisting them maneuver through the sometimes complex Kaiser system as they continue with their follow up care at our clinic. I look forward to gaining new experiences and ways to deliver patient care as a registered nurse.
