  • The youth group is dedicated to promoting anti-bullying initiatives and voluntarily hosts activities for high schools in Vancouver.
  • Serving as the department head of the group, mainly focusing on promotions to the public, working on creating an online forum, promotion and reaching out.
  • Helping organize a forum for 300 high school students about anti-bullying in March 2024; the following forum will be in September 2024.
  • The forum collects students’ opinions about bullying and their ideas for preventing violence.

  • Leading 12 public council meetings to discuss and vote for roughly 24 council proposals a year, reporting the issues to the city council.
  • Selected as Vancouver Executive Subcommittee member to decide the content of staff presentation and staff engagement.
  • Currently, the proposals I have reported, which were approved by Vancouver City with your valuable input, have started implantation.
  • In January 2024, individually proposed constructing traffic infrastructure near Lord Byng Secondary since serious accidents often happen. A new pedestrain and signs were implemented in June 2024.

  • Topic: The Sequence Between Average Household Income and Cycling Infrastructure Expansion in Vancouver, Canada
  • Data & Math Model-driven, using logistic regression model and mathematical support. Result concluding there existed cause-effect relationship between income change and expansion in cycling infrastructure, suggesting a factor of special inequality of a city.
  • Topic: Impact of the new bikeway expansion: a casework in Vancouver, Canada
  • Data and statistics driven. Using data from the Vancouver Data portal, an analysis of the new bikeway expansion’s impact on land value and local stores has been done. The conclusion is that there will be a positive effect on the local neighbourhood.
