I learn about how refugee system in Canada works about their different clients and objectives (including NSP, RAP, Sponsorship)

I was able to provide counseling services and legal support to women who had been abused
I was also involved in giving legal support to newcomers who are applying for refugee status and helping women in shelters who don't have legal status in Canada

Helped both adults and youth with settlement service to adjust to Canada by finding them an apartment, housing, helping them find permanent accommodation and finding a job etc
I conducted Bible study classes for children and youth during the school year, and a special summer session
I run two weekly religious class and discussion groups, one for children aged 6-11, and one for children aged 12-20
I also help women who need personal help dealing with difficult situations such as a marriage breakup, and women giving birth, who have no support system here
