Future plans to:

  • Attend the Shiatsu 101 program at the end of July with T'Agyol Adler so that I can offer Shiatsu in my practice.
  • Gain education and certificate for cosmetic acupuncture so I can integrate it as soon as possible into my practice as a stand-alone offering.
  • Attend an iDissect Cadaver Lab at the end of July with Dr. Poney Chiang.
  • Attend continuing education courses to continuously learn more about TCM/Acupuncture so that I can integrate the knowledge into my practice to help with my patients' healing journeys in the most effective and safe ways.
  • Integrate Sound Healing and other modalities into my practice once I finish my course to gain an internationally accredited Certificate in Energy Healing, accredited by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists, offered by the Academy of Energy Healing.
  • Attend seminars, conferences and workshops related to acupuncture practices and techniques (for example: Applied Channel Theory and The Balancing Method).
  • Research new "trends" in acupuncture therapies in order to stay abreast of latest developments in the field.

Volunteer

  • Volunteered at a clinic in Toronto as a body for a recently graduated Acupuncturist. This experience included a full intake, and the student learned new techniques such as Japanese style moxa for an injured shoulder. The treatment was supervised/observed and it was a learning experience for me as well.
