I am seeking telehealth associateship opportunities which will allow me to continue to work from home, and serve a small but mighty case load of people. I have worked in various settings, including the service industry, education, healthcare, underground, and under the table economies. I am disabled, live with a chronic illness, and have spent years at a time out of the workforce. All of this informs who I am as a therapist.
* Actively serving queer, trans, nonbinary, and/or gender-expansive clients using a relational, Humanistic, Liberation Psychology Framework, and additional techniques from Body Trust (Center for Body Trust), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Parts Work, Narrative, and CBT/DBT.
* Providing tele-mental health treatment
* Writing letters for gender-affirming care access
* Critical consciousness of power and privilege in the clinical relationship
* Case Management for adult clients in the Planned Services program at Tuolumne County Behavioral Health.
* Worked with caseload of 15-20 individuals.
* Assisted clients with behavioral, emotional, alcohol and/or drug related problems.
* Knowledge of available community resources and sources for referral.
* Basic knowledge of psychology and "abnormal" psychology; basic psychiatric terminology. Coordination of telehealth psychiatry sessions weekly.
* Team lead for peer staff at The Enrichment Center for Wellness and Recovery.
* Responsible for coordinating activities, creating monthly calendar of events, facilitating peer support groups, including Eating Disorder Support Group, LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group at Columbia College, and large group facilitation on a variety of Recovery topics.
* Established and coordinated first cohort of peer staff students in the Columbia College Psycho-Social Rehabilitation and Peer Support Certificate Program.
* Extensive daily practice providing peer support, education, and referrals to appropriate community resources.
* Revitalized and established the gardening peer support project. * Writing articles for TCBH Newsletter, problem solver, brain stormer, public speaker.
* Familiar with Local Government Agency structure; including chain of command, policies and procedures.
* Coordination of employee and community trainings, for example, LGBTQ+ Awareness, Sensitivity and Competency Training.
* Special projects for Mental Health Services Act Coordinator by arrangement.
