The scope of work includes the installation of shaft services, the development of the underground stations, equipping the loading pocket and headframe, the installation of a Blair hoist, as well as headframe changeovers.
  • Preparing Field Instruction Work Packages (FIWP) to enable crews to perform quality work in a safe, predictable, measurable, and efficient manner. This includes developing the scope of work, methodology, material/tool lists, engineering deliverables, and schedules with both the engineering and operations teams.
  • Working with both the Mechanical and Electrical departments to ensure that the supporting activities for the work execution are captured accurately in the scope of work and methodology.
  • Coordinating with the QA/QC department to ensure all quality documents that are required are in the package and ready for the field to populate.
  • Facilitating effective communication between engineering and construction project leadership, ensuring proper coordination of technical details into the FIWP, participating in the construction walk-downs, and verifying the closure of punch list items.
