BC Place Stadium In-building DAS Design
Planned and deployed Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) design for 4G and 5G network at BC Place stadium using RF Design software, IBwave, by evaluating the radio frequency (RF) propagation within the stadium, taking into account of structural limitations.
Fine-tuned and optimized the DAS design for coverage, capacity, and quality of service by ensuring that the designed system meets the required specifications, quality standards and regulations for optimal network performance.
Monitored the performance of the designed system to ensure consistent service through identifying and troubleshooting issues such as interference, signal degradation, or equipment failure.
Through the installed DAS at BC Place, Rogers 5G network customers held an impressive record of using over 11TB of mobile data to share and stream Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" on a single night, setting a new record.
