Teaching children and adolescents is something I look forward to every day. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to do this in my career. With a deep love for education, literature, and the outdoors, and a desire to see every child’s well-being flourish, I believe I can bring both passion and purpose to my future classroom, fostering a safe and encouraging learning environment. My goal as an educator is not only to teach but to walk alongside my students, helping them discover who they are and who they can become.
As a lover of nature and animals, I incorporate the outside world into my teaching by taking the children outdoors for some in-class activities, as it offers more learning opportunities, allowing students to make connections between a story’s message and the world around them. Teaching, for me, is not just about delivering content; it is about walking beside young people on their educational journey, acknowledging both their successes and setbacks, and equally celebrating both, as that is what the journey is all about.
