Mazin Salman

I am a passionate team player with extensive experience in the service industry. I’m a teacher candidate, and I’m currently enrolled in the University of Western’s Bachelor of Education program, where I aspire to pursue a life-long career in education.

• Football Coach, Mother Teresia Secondary School & St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, London, ON, 01/01/17, 12/31/23, Helped Coach the MTS Spartans & the STA Flames senior football teams, often working with young men aged 14-18. Showing them proper and safe techniques while pushing them to reach their full potential as athletes. I also run the strength and conditioning off-season workouts.
• Committee Member, Windsor Lancer Student Athlete Committee, Windsor, ON, 01/01/20, 12/31/21, I was a part of the student athlete committee at my university where we often discussed and aided with ongoing issues within the community and university as well as voicing concerns lancer athletes might have to the athletic administration.
• Soccer Coach, Muslim Youth Soccer League, London, ON, 01/01/17, 12/31/18, I was the head coach of the U-13 boys’ team for two years, during my first year as coach I managed to lead the team of boys to first place in their conference, followed by a second place finish the second year. I coached roughly 15 boys, organizing and running them through practices and gameday strategies while dealing with any concerns they or their parents may have.
