  • Leading continuous improvement projects with cross functional team to improve production efficiency, reduce manufacturing cost, reduce safety hazards & to align material flow with day-to-day operation. Working with Field technicians and quality control team to identify root cause for customer complaints and warranty failures as well as implementing corrective actions to fix issues.
  • Contributed to Project ATLAS by coordinating with external contractors to design & manufacture special jigs, templates and punches as per design standards. Coordinated with machine technicians to program & modify cutting saws, welding & cleaning lines to manufacture 8500 series windows.
  • Assisting CI manager with capital projects to install new equipment in plant, performing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) & Site Acceptance Test (SAT), preparing equipment layout on plant floor, commissioning & programming equipment as well as monitoring KPIs after equipment installation.
  • Working as a HR Ambassador to introduce HRSS model within plant. Training our production & office staff on using this model. Collecting regular feedback from employees and sharing it with project team to remove impediments and improve HRSS model.
  • Preparing Plant Layouts, Inventory Layouts & Emergency Evacuation plans using AutoCAD as well as preparing work instructions, SOPs, Process Flow Diagrams, OPLs, Preventive Maintenance Strategies & Process Control Plans. Following change management procedure by creating ECNs.

Projects

March 2023 – At Present Project ATLAS - Launching 8500 series windows, Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors Jeld-Wen has launched new 8500 series window under Project ATLAS which meets 2030 energy star ratings. We modified our existing equipment & machines to manufacture these windows as well as to continue our regular window production. We designed new jigs, templates & fixtures and coordinated with our tool & die maker to manufacture them as per design. After modifying all the equipment, we tested it’s accuracy within permissible tolerance and launched project ATLAS successfully. Currently, we are improving our processes and solving customer complaints., Feb. 2021 – July 2021 Project Dakota - Construction project of Amazon distribution center, W&W Steel Erectors Project Dakota was a construction project of Amazon distribution center in Hamilton, ON. I was working as a bridge to connect our on-field fabrication team with designers in US. I was raising day to day fabrication issues to design team and coordinating changes with foremen. I was working with our vendors and suppliers to keep the record of rental equipment on site. I was tracking project status daily and presenting in weekly calls. I was preparing project status reports and site inspection reports for stakeholders as per stakeholder engagement & communication management plan.
