Hired as a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) at a younger age than typically permitted, allowing me to gain approximately 33% more hands-on experience than the average CIT. Over multiple summers, I’ve worked with campers ages 3–12, building a strong understanding of age-specific needs and behavior. I was consistently entrusted with responsibilities such as leading outdoor games, assisting with cooking projects, and independently setting up group activities. Known for being reliable, energetic, and proactive, I developed strong relationships with senior counselors and staff—earning their trust and mentorship. My early start, broad age-group experience, and proven leadership make me a strong candidate for a counselor role.
