Max Gilleland

Worked extensively in the Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Field since summer 2024, supporting individuals with disabilities across a range of age groups. The majority of experience has been with children through Kids Kare programs, where responsibilities include facilitating adaptive recreational activities, promoting social and emotional development, and providing individual support in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

• Worked with children of varying age, interest, skill, and developmental levels.
• Collaborated with other camp counselors to design fun and enriching learning activities for campers.
• Led groups of children safely through variety of camp activities.
• Assisted in preparing meals and snacks to provide nutritional needs to campers.
