Musician, arranger, choir conductor, guitarist, composer and music producer with more than 40 years of career, active in the theatrical, cinematographic and vocal areas and has in his curriculum, a Mambembe award (Brazilian award) and the music of the documentary "De Volta" (Coming Back) nominated in the "Best International Documentary" category at the Emmy International Awards 2014, among others.
During his career in Brazil, he had the opportunity to lead musical groups, cultural projects and choirs.

In 2019, he composed the Original Music of the documentary “Between the Door and the Street”.
· Founder of the vocal group Zinziver, of which he was the musical director, arranger, and guitarist. Zinziver was a vocal group of actor/singers who, during their first 8 years, performed on various stages in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
· As a conductor of and arranger for choirs, Mauro worked with the choirs of the Anisio Teixeira Educational Centre (CEAT), the Escola Dinamica de Ensino Moderno - EDEM - (Dynamic School of Modern Education), the Ian Guest Musical Improvement Course (CIGAM) and with the Parents’ Association Choir of the Jewish School Eliezer Steimbarg.
· For 30 years, he was the conductor and arranger for the vocal group "Às Terças", and in the last 5 years he has worked with the “Ole Olam Choir”, the “Canto na Quinta Choir” and the Virtual Choir “Brasil de Todos os Cantos ”

Founder of the Jewish Music Band "Zemer", in 1996. As Zemer’s arranger, musical director and guitarist, he has given many concerts both inside and outside the Jewish community. In 2006, Zemer recorded its CD; in 2009, attended the Nova Scotia Multicultural Festival in Halifax, Canada, and also participated in the first Klezmer Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil
· In 2015, "The Brazilian Klezmer", a concert that took place in Vancouver, Canada, where he played his arrangements with Canadian musicians at the Or Shalom Synagogue
· In 2016, again in Vancouver, he directed and performed a "Tribute to Naomi Shemer" concert with three local singers and four musicians at the Beit Israel Synagogue
· In 2019, he performed at the Brazilian Cultural Center, in Tel Aviv, Israelwith his show "Women of Brazil", featuring three Brazilian singers residing in the country
· In the same year, he did the musical direction and performed in the concert "Klezmer Samba" of the Festival of Latin American Jewish Culture, in Vancouver, Canada, conducting a band of nine Canadian musicians and two singers
