With nearly 15 years of experience in the glass industry, I have developed a comprehensive skill set, and a deep understanding of the trade. I began my career with minimal knowledge, starting as a shop helper, marring vinyl, and setting glass in unitized systems, and I steadily advanced through hands-on experience. I became proficient in building units from start to finish, reading fabrication sheets and details, and ensuring quality production. Over time, I mastered the use of a two-part pump, pressure bar installation, and glass setting, and I played a key role in maintaining quality control throughout production.
My expertise led to a promotion to Shop Quality Control Manager, where I managed quality control in shops and supervised a team of two quality control professionals. In this role, I water-tested constantly to ensure units met company standards and were free from leaks. As a result, I contributed significantly to maintaining high production standards, and improving overall efficiency.
While I'm ready for a fresh start, I am excited to bring my skills, experience, and attention to detail to a new company. I am eager to contribute to its success while continuing to grow in my career. Though transitioning is a step into the unknown, I am confident that my background and dedication will allow me to make a meaningful impact.
