  • I am a team leader experienced in directing safe practices in the oil and gas industry. I am talented at developing strategies, setting goals and training employees.
  • I am confident and decisive when communicating goals. I am a problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills and possess excellent communication skills while interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
  • I have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple assignments concurrently, meeting deadlines. I am a proactive and goal-oriented professional with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • I am known for my reliability and adaptability, with swift capacity to learn and apply new skills. I am committed to leveraging these qualities to drive team success and contribute to organizational growth.

  • I have been involved in safety in one form or another for over 28 years. My time in the Navy and my law enforcement experience provided me with investigative skills, behavior-based training, and teaching/mentoring skills. It also encouraged the understanding of creditability, accountability, and trustworthiness. This transitioned into the safety field in a beneficial way. Being involved in the field of safety has been a passion of mine since my time in the NAVY, where I was involved in several different aspects of safety including safety walks on the runway to identify hazards and other safety related tasks involving keeping our military men and women safe. With the understanding that safety stands for life and death, I looked to my law enforcement education to further that understanding and commitment. I have worked a variety of jobs in the oil and gas industry and have been involved in different aspects of safety from incident investigation to instructional training and safety leadership.
  • I am currently enrolled in online college courses to complete my AS degree and will graduate in July 2026 at which time I will be continuing my education to obtain my BS degree. I have completed the CHST (Construction Health Safety Certification) course and still have an active certificate. I was an OSHA instructor for many years but have let that certification lapse. I focus my employee education on behavior-based safety approach in the way of coaching to build a better work approach with the crews.

  • I demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments. Eager to contribute to team success and further develop professional skills. Brings positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and growth.

  • I enjoy the coaching aspect of safety the most and find that having a positive impact on someone's life through mentoring and education is rewarding. My goal is not be feared, but to encourage a great working relationship in a safe manner in which everyone goes home each night.
