- As a first officer at Air bravo I learned all about the IFR flying world flying medevac into busy Toronto airspace and charters up in northern Ontario. As my first job flying IFR it was a learning curve that I feel I adapted to very quickly. I learned the ins and outs of flying a turbo prop aircraft and a lot about airspace when flying IMC.

- Working and living out of Sandy Lake Ontario, learning the ins and outs of flying in the north as PIC on a Cessna 206/207. Spent a month on the ground in St Andrews Manitoba working around the hangar this included doing grocery runs for our store in Sandy Lake as well as shuttling passengers to and from the airport. I then moved to Sandy Lake and started my flying, we would do small hops around the northern reserves as well as flights back to winnipeg. This job gave me a chance to learn about the communities up north and make relationships with all the residents. I also learned a lot about decision making as our main goal was to get things done in a safe manner.

- Working in the Thunder Bay dispatch office as a flight follower/ dispatcher, learning how to create schedules, manage duty times and communicate with the pilots and paramedics as well as planning with Ornge for our Medevac crews. I learned alot about the behind the scenes of an airline and what it takes to make an operation successful.
