Additional Information

Auxiliary Fuel Tank Testing

Associated with Diamond Aircraft Industries

• Designed and created test configuration to simulate crash landing effects on DA 62 auxiliary fuel tanks in order to ensure occupant safety during worst case landing conditions.
• Created simulation test plans, drawings, test reports and other supporting documentation for TCCA certification.

Punch Press Mechanism

Associated with Western University Coursework

• Performed synthesis of a crank slider mechanism to meet customer requirements.
• Created 3D assembly (Solidworks) of the mechanism and made corresponding 2D drawings.
• Used Solidworks Motion Simulation to calculate linear displacement, velocity, and acceleration of punch.
• Created a MATLAB code using a loop closure method on the mechanism in order to validate motion simulation results.
