Matthew Shierson

I was in a construction program at my school called S.T.I.C.S. where you do a variety of different things involving construction. We did some framing, electrical work, concrete patch work, insulation, drywall / taping and near the end of the semester we built the stage for graduation. I have gained so much knowledge and skills, after completing this course and I can't wait to keep moving forward. I have my working at heights training done and am certified in asbestos awareness, lock out tag out awareness, excellence in customer service, fire extinguisher awareness and WHIMIS. I also have great people skills and which came in handy while volunteering at the Bowmanville Older Adult Association, they sure did appreciate my sense of humour and ability to take initiative. I also take pride in my time management and organization skills because of how much they help my efficiency.
