  • Conducted legal research and drafted legal memos for lawyers on municipal, civil litigation and private construction projects including matters involving the Rules of Small Claim, Rules of Civil Procedure, municipal law, freedom of information law and employment law. Most recently I researched and organized months of weather data to disprove the defendants reasoning for the construction delay of a flagship retail store of our client.
  • Performed general legal office administration and clerical work including organizing multiple lawyer’s calendars, keeping legal deadlines up to date and communicating and scheduling meetings with clients, experts, opposing counsel and court staff. I dealt with approximately 50 emails from clients and experts daily.
  • Prepared various legal documents for the Ontario Land Tribunal and Superior Court of Justice including freedom of information requests under the Freedom of Information Act and motions including researching and assembling documents regarding a multi-million dollar construction lien regarding the incorrect installation of condo windows.
