· Acquired over $85 million in assets over the last 3 years, growing our group to over 10 fully operational businesses including hotels, manufacturing, residential land development and commercial real estate.
· Achieved annual gross revenues of over $20 million collectively across the group of companies.
· Built four very strong hotel management teams, from the GM, to over 80% of all hotel leaders.
· Assembled a head office team including our corporate controller, construction managers, our accounting team and executive assistants for our ownership, to support our growing operations.
· On-boarded numerous businesses including two hotels in the last three years, setting up systems, policies, procedures, best practices, payroll, human resources and accounting systems for each.
· Increased total annual revenues by a combined $1.2 million in just 5 years, with an average annual increase of 10.96%.
· Increased GOP by over $550,000 in just 5 years, while achieving an average GOP % of over 43%.
· Ranked 5th in the entire country out of 95+ Holiday Inn Express Hotels for 12 month running overall guest satisfaction scores from IHG, by creating a fun and engaging work culture for all hotel staff.
· Won IHG’s Hotel of the Year Award, for all of Canada, across all IHG branded hotels for 2015.
· Provided leadership to a full service resort, conference centre & golf course, while simultaneously running a select service hotel 90 minutes away, with total revenues of $6 million annually.
· Built a proper leadership team at the resort, implementing reporting, targets, goals, metrics, and KPI’s, along with weekly 1 on 1 meetings for all leaders and departments.
· Increased total annual revenues by 6.16% and GOP by 6.64% that year.
· Inspired and created the Matt Duchene Golf Tournament to support Minden Flood Relief, which was showcased on Hockey Night in Canada and is now an annual event raising funds for the hospital.
