  • Open all blocks of meat that are required for batches and visually inspect for any defects (foreign material, signs of spoilage, off-odour, off-colour, excess denaturant)
  • Verify accuracy of Raw Materials against the meatroom/cereal batching sheets and record lot numbers and supplier information for each ingredient used
  • Consume all raw material ingredients required in the batching process in RFGen
  • Open bags of grain and visually inspect for any defects (Foreign material, signs of spoilage, off odor, off colour)
  • Dump into auger as required
  • Resolve on the floor issues amongst team

  • Stage totes both empty and full

  • Maintain gravy room and dry ingredient area in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Account for Knife use on Log provided for foreign material control
  • Advise Shift Supervisor and Maintenance of any equipment issues that can affect overall product quality
  • If any issues are found, seek direction from the Shift Supervisor, as it may be necessary to stop the gravy batch preparation as it could impact overall Food Safety and Quality

  • Unload frozen, fresh and dry ingredient trucks when it comes into the facility
  • Weigh and inspect pallets received for any defects
